Short answer: in 2026 a website in Saudi Arabia costs from about SAR 1,500 to 3,000 for a small company site, SAR 5,000 – 10,000 for advanced sites, and over SAR 50,000 for large custom sites. In Dubai simple sites start at about AED 1,000.
This guide covers company and brochure websites. For a store read the online store cost guide for Saudi Arabia and the UAE, and for a project in Egypt read the website design cost guide for Egypt.

What raises the price of a website?
Arabic and English
Most company sites in the Gulf need two languages: a properly tested right-to-left Arabic interface, an English version, and separate URLs and titles per language so the site ranks in both.
Custom design
A ready template is cheaper and faster; a custom design in your brand builds trust and sets you apart, but takes longer.
Admin dashboard
A dashboard where you edit text, images and articles yourself saves calling the developer for every change.
Integrations
Bookings, payments, WhatsApp, CRM and ERP systems such as Odoo each need development and testing.
Speed and SEO
A site that is fast on mobile, with structured data and proper titles on every page, brings customers from Google instead of relying only on ads.
How much does a WordPress website cost?
WordPress suits simple sites and tight budgets. The cost is made of:
- Theme: USD 30 to 100, one time.
- Hosting: from about USD 3 a month for shared hosting, USD 20 to 100 for cloud hosting.
- Plugins: from a few dollars to hundreds, depending on what you need.
- Maintenance: about USD 100 – 200 a year, more for high-traffic sites.
- The work itself: setup, design and content, the largest part of the price.
Figures from GoDaddy's 2026 guide. WordPress needs ongoing security updates; a custom-built site (Next.js, for example) is faster and stronger for SEO but costs more up front.
What should a website design quote include?
Before you sign, make sure the quote states each of these clearly:
Item | What to ask |
|---|---|
Pages and languages | How many pages? Arabic only, or Arabic and English? |
Design | Template or custom? How many rounds of changes? |
Admin dashboard | Can I edit the content myself? |
Integrations | Payments, bookings, WhatsApp, CRM, Odoo? |
Technical SEO | Speed, structured data, sitemap, titles per page? |
Timeline and payments | When is delivery? Which payments, at which milestone? |
After launch | How long is free support? What does maintenance cost after that? |
Ownership | Are the domain, hosting and code in my name? |
